The Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition Education Program is committed to meeting the unique educational needs of our oncology professionals and patients. Because the majority of our 33 county region is rural, it is often difficult for many cancer patients to receive timely and effective diagnosis, treatment and education. The SWGCC recognizes this disparity and is seeking to address it through a videoconferencing network that will allow our regional specialty cancer centers to connect with one another as well as specialists from around the state and nation – to better serve our patients and their families in Southwest Georgia.
