Clinical trials are research studies in which people help doctors find ways to improve health and cancer care. Each study tries to answer scientific questions and to find better ways to prevent, diagnose, or treat cancer. [source]

By collaborating with local cancer centers and state programs such as the Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education (GACORE), Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition is working towards bringing a palate of cutting edge clinical trials to Southwest Georgia. A network of clinical trials would allow patients to receive the latest advancements in cancer treatments at their local hospital or cancer center instead of traveling far from home.

Listed below are cancer clinical trials available both locally and statewide.
