Perry Mustian

Biographical Sketch



image: Kay ReadPerry Mustian is a native of Gainesville, Florida, and grew up in Tallahassee.

Effective April 25, 2008, Mr. Mustian was named President of Archbold Medical Center. From 2003 until April of 2008, he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Archbold Memorial. Previously he worked as director of Archbold’s affiliate network, which includes four community hospitals, four nursing homes and other facilities in Grady, Mitchell, Brooks, Early and Jefferson (Fla.) counties.

He earned a master’s degree in health administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations at the University of Florida. He recently was named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. The title of Fellow, held by only 5,400 of the society’s 30,000 members, signifies board certification in healthcare management, the society’s highest level of professional development. Mr. Mustian also is a Fellow of The Advisory Board Company’s Academy Fellowship.

Mr. Mustian is a member of the Georgia Hospital Association and the Georgia division of Voluntary Hospitals of America, and he is a graduate of Leadership Thomasville 2000 and Leadership Tallahassee 1990. He serves on the boards of directors of the Thomasville-Thomas County Chamber of Commerce, the Thomasville Cultural Center, and the Southwest Georgia Area Health Education Consortium. He also is a member of the Thomasville Rotary Club and of Thomasville’s First Presbyterian Church, where he serves as a deacon.
