PCSG is a federally qualified community health center with one full-time physician, one full-time family nurse practitioner and is seeking another full-time physician. The vision of the Board of PCSG is to expand primary care services, and consequently access to health care, to the residents of Southwest Georgia, regardless of their ability to pay for services. This vision is unfolding with the opening of the Thomasville site on August 1, 2007. Other sites are under consideration for the coming year.

The Board, Senior Management and Staff are committed to strong partnerships with organizations of similar mission and vision. Consequently, the current CEO would be pleased to be invited to serve on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition to work collaboratively to reduce the burden of cancer for residents of Southwest Georgia.
