Why We Are Here
The Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition is a collaboration of individuals and organizations across 31 counties with a bold vision to eliminate the burden of cancer in our region. We represent a diverse group of business and industry leaders, hospital leaders, faith community members, public health officials, physicians, cancer survivors and others.
The Cancer Coalition's mission, projects and funding are all focused completely on southwest Georgia. We work to ensure more people learn about cancer and receive the services they need so fewer members of your family, friends and neighbors are affected by this frightening disease.
Our goal is to build a dynamic model for rural comprehensive cancer control, remove barriers and eliminate cancer disparities throughout the region.
